If you live on the Central Coast of California you can join us every Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
at 406 Main Street, Suite 423 in Watsonville.
For those of you who are too far away to attend our weekly meetings, we do have another way for you to
send us what you got. ShoutOut welcomes writing and artwork submissions for our newspaper and also
for the ShoutOut web site.
Please send your stories via email or regular mail (email is better). Stories should be saved as a
Word document with 12 point Times New Roman Font. You must include your first and last name,
age, phone number, email and where you live or the school you attend on each page of your
document. All written work is subject to an editing process.
For artwork, please send your artwork via email (as a jpeg) or regular mail (once again, email
is better). Please note that ShoutOut cannot be responsible for original artwork. Images mailed to
ShoutOut should be on a white sheet of 8.5 by 11 paper with a one-inch border. Artwork should NOT
be done on lined paper, or in pencil. Make sure you include your first and last name, age, phone and
email address.
When submitting to ShoutOut, you are giving us permission to publish your work in our newspaper
or on our web site. ShoutOut will make every effort to contact you in advance to notify you if
your work will be featured.
